She was born in Lublin, has lived and worked in Gdansk for many years. In 1996-2001 she studied at the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. She defended her diploma in 2001 in the sculpture studio of prof. Stanisław Radwański. 2010 Ph.D. The need for the Master – promoter of prof. Katarzyna Józefowicz. 2018 habilitation House-shelter, Beautiful waiting (self-portrait with a dog) Currently, she runs a studio drawing workshop at the Faculty of Sculpture and Intermedia at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. She deals with sculpture, artistic fabric and drawing. She has participated in many group and individual exhibitions.
One of the most important aspects of creativity is for me the ability to enter my realizations into different contexts, the ability to build different meanings. Finding new areas of impact, new quality. Context based on the history or significance of a given place, context built through the neighborhood of other works, where another artist appears with his work – when the relationship between them and the new meaning through the combination become additional value.
